Once upon a time, there was a boy who relied on his clock to tell him what to do and when to do it. However, one day, the clock suddenly stopped working. Lost without his usual routine, the boy learned valuable lessons about time management and the importance of structure by doing what he wanted when he wanted.

After Kenya comes home with a rescue dog, Poppy, her recently deceased cat—now a ghost, is determined out of jealousy to spook Harlow, the pup and send him back to the pound. Her plan works but after seeing the error of her ways she enlists the help of a group of misfit pet ghosts to right the wrong.

Winston, the British Bulldog, loyal to a fault, and Ham, the Russian hamster with a personality bigger than his voice, are Kenya's past pets. Webster the tarantula, who has enough web to go around, and Budgie the Parakeet, a bird of no words, are the past pets of Kenya's co-workers.
They come together in a military-style mission to bring Harlow home by any means posable, pet possession, toy possession, even telekinesis on an old man’s wig.

But with rules to follow and the fact that they are ghosts, the odds are stacked against the mostly crew.

Can they overcome the obstacles and bring Harlow home? Or will bygones be bygones?

I love to read books and this book lived up to my expectations, if not more. I loved the first book gut feeling and was so pleased when seeing a new book was out by this author.
